Amazon’s mega list of books is your new power source for generating endless ideas for your YouTube channel.

⚡ Converting a book into a YouTube video has two powers:

  1. You are saving your audience time by reading the book for them
  2. You are becoming a Thought Leader by sharing your perspective

Unfortunately, YouTubers get in their head thinking that by making a video of the book they are somehow “stealing” from the author. WRONG.

⛏️ You’re sitting on a mountain of untapped ideas…

YouTubers think there’s some code of conduct watching our every move.

Here’s where fear holds them back:

❌ Every idea has to be original

❌ Afraid of accidentally “stealing” ideas

❌ They’re spoiling the book for others

I’m going to show you not only how to tap into unlimited ideas, but also give credit to the author so you can sleep at night:

đź“š Step 1: Buy the Book/Audiobook (or read the Table of Contents)

Find the top 25 books in your industry.

Whether it’s programming, yoga, or marketing add the BIG books to your wishlist and buy one book at a time. If you wanna take a shortcut, click on Quick Look and scan the table of contents.

🔎 Step 2: Breakdown ONE idea into a 3–5 minute script

Now, here’s the easy part: Don’t read the entire book — just ONE chapter.

Or read one paragraph. This book breakdown shouldn’t be a daunting task. The process should feel like you’re flying. Read one great chapter, take a few notes, and then start writing out your talking points.

React to a big point from the book or tell a story that this point reminds you of.

🧻 Step 3: Create a series or playlist for binge-watching

You can stop at one video or you can keep digging for more.

Create a binge-worthy playlist that walks through all the major points of the book. And give credit to the author. This actually gives you more credibility because now you look like a well-read expert.

Once you’re finished with one book, go back to Step 1.
