🎄 Holidays & Taxes…

The holidays are in full swing, and you’re ready to upgrade your spare bedroom.

OR…your boss needs to save on taxes this year and needs YOU to go spend $10,000 before the end of the fiscal year.

Either way, this kit will help you…

  • Build out your new Studio
  • Record YouTube videos consistently
  • Record podcasts and phone interviews, and
  • Look & Sound like a true professional…

✨ Here’s my $10K YouTube Studio…

10. Matthews C-Stand

Starting off with the safest investment you’ll ever make in your video career. Trust Matthews, no one else.

9. Samson C02 Pencil Mic (Indoor Audio)

Those pricey Sennheiser shotgun mics are overkill for your YouTube studio. And those are designed for outdoor, in-the-field productions.

These pencil mics are perfect for indoor recording and sound just as good as the MKH 416. Plus you get two! Don’t know why buy now you have a backup.

8. Godox 60W (Your Key Light)

Don’t worry — I’m still a fan of Aputure (keep scrolling). But here’s my problem with the 120D, 300D, etc. — the power brick that controls the light.

I bought this Godox because it’s a simple power plug. No giant metal brick required.

7. ATEM Mini Pro (Livestream + Video Switcher)

You need to start live streaming more, and this video switcher is the perfect way to flawlessly stream. Switch from your camera to your computer screen — and connect this with Ethernet for lag-free streaming.

6. Benro Tripod

Why is a tripod #6 on this list? Dunno.

But you’re gonna need it for Item #2…

5. RODECaster Pro (Podcasting & Interviews)

Yeah, it’s plastic-y but who cares! The RODECaster dominates at podcasting, interviews, and recording crisp, clean audio.

Sell your Zoom recorder for this bad boy.

4. Aputure P60C RGBWW (Your Hair Light)

Add a pop of color or give yourself a nice hair light with this new LED panel.

Simple. Powerful. Beautiful.

3. Sigma 24–70mm E-Mount

Glass isn’t the most feature-rich, but if I’m spending $1,000 for glass inside a plastic cylinder, then it’s going to be a Sigma plastic cylinder.

2. iKan Teleprompter

Personally, I never thought I’d be recommending a teleprompter, but I’ve gotten a taste and I can’t look back.

Here’s the thing…you don’t have to use it for scripts — use it to monitor your own video.

1. Sony a7S iii

Flippy screen. 10-bit video. Autofocus like a surgeon.

The Sony a7s iii checks 95% of the boxes on my Perfect Camera checklist.
